AB Foods pourrait reprendre HP Foods à Danone
Le groupe britannique AB Foods a connu une hausse de 16 % de son bénéfice au premier semestre. Le propriétaire des marques de thé Twinings et de sucre Silver Spoon, a pourtant reculé à la Bourse de Londres, subissant l’anticipation des marchés concernant la réforme du régime sucrier européen et la baisse des prix qui en découlera. Pour réduire sa dépendance au sucre (25 % de ses ventes), AB Foods envisage de réaliser une acquisition pour laquelle il dispose de 460 millions d’euros.
